Sharon Benzeno

Sharon Benzeno is the Chief Commercial Officer of Immune Medicine leading drug discovery at Adaptive Biotechnologies. Adaptive is a commercial-stage biotech company that translates the genetics of the adaptive immune system into clinical products to better diagnose and treat disease, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Sharon has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology management and Board experience focused on successfully building public and private industry-leading, innovative businesses with expertise in cancer biology and immunology. Sharon has served as an independent director of Notch Therapeutics. Before joining Adaptive, she served in a variety of management roles at AstraZeneca, Capgemini SE and Elsevier Inc. Sharon holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from New York University School of Medicine, an MBA in Finance and Leadership from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in Biochemistry from New York University. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer biology at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center.
