Chandra Ramanathan

Chandra Ramanathan serves as EVP of Commercialization and Strategy and brings more than three decades of biopharmaceutical leadership spanning business development, new product strategy, and commercialization. Prior to joining BRC, he was VP and Head of External Innovation at Danaher’s Life Sciences Innovation Group, where he built partnership pipelines across the company’s portfolio and served on its M&A evaluation team. Chandra previously spent over a decade at Bayer, where he established the company’s Cambridge, MA innovation center, chaired its Open Innovation Committee and helped grow Bayer’s oncology clinical portfolio from two assets to fifteen. He has led four drug launches, including as global launch team leader for Aliqopa and global brand team leader for Bosulif, and has held business development and marketing roles at Wyeth and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Chandra serves on the Boards of MassBio and McLean Hospital, chairs the Board of Directors of Nucleate, and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He holds a PhD in Genomics/Bioinformatics from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
